How it works

Pick hills → Set stick → Get one SMS and go.

Why it exists

PowAlert is a free ski forecast and SMS stick-alert service for multi-mountain pass holders. Check multi-day snow outlooks for the hills you ski; set a stick (your snow threshold); get a text when the forecast crosses it — as early as the forecast shows. No paywall for the core multi-day view; we don’t employ a local meteorologist to hand-edit the next 24 hours the way some paid forecast products do. Stick SMS is how you take the day without refreshing all morning.

What you get

Free long-range forecast — no paywall on the outlook. Stick SMS and optional app sit on top.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. The extended multi-day outlook is free — no paywall. Stick SMS sits on top. Public weather models.

What is a stick?

Do I need an app?

Web and SMS work on their own. The app is optional.
